I had the honor and pleasure of once again workshopping Lisa Sanaye Dring’s outstanding new play SUMO, this time at Boston Court Pasadena, with 6 TITANS of the Asian American acting community directed by Ralph B. Peña. Grateful for the chance to flex those muscles, acting and otherwise. And truly thankful to our sister Lisa who has created 6 amazing roles for her Asian American brothers with the sort of depth, complexity, and humanity we rarely get to inhabit. THAT is Asian Excellence.
